Jang Bahadur Singh Honoured with ‘National Pride Award’ in New Delhi for Distinguished Public Service

New Delhi, March 14, 2026:

Former Deputy Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), Shri Jang Bahadur Singh, was honoured at a special social event titled “Ek Shaam Desh Ke Naam” on March 14 at Malvankar Auditorium, Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi.

Jan Kalyan Morcha (JKM), a national-level social organisation serving the nation for over 36 years, honoured Shri Jang Bahadur Singh with the “National Pride Award” in recognition of his distinguished contribution to public service and his commitment to the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Jan Kalyan Morcha is known for its work in the fields of health, education, and the upliftment of underprivileged communities. The organisation has been actively promoting inclusive development through various social initiatives. By conferring this honour, Jan Kalyan Morcha acknowledged Shri Jang Bahadur Singh’s exemplary leadership, integrity, and inspiring legacy of service to the nation.

Speaking after receiving the award, Shri Jang Bahadur Singh expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying, “I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition. Throughout my career, my only aim has been to serve the nation with dedication and integrity. This award is not just a personal achievement but a tribute to all those who work tirelessly for the security and progress of our country.”

The Chief Guest of the event was Chirag Paswan, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries. Several prominent leaders also attended the programme as Guests of Honour, including Satish Chandra Dubey, Minister of State for Coal and Mines; Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs; Shripad Naik, Minister of State for Power; Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment; Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Minister of State for Jal Shakti; and actor-politician Govinda.

Their presence added significance to the programme and underlined the spirit of national service and recognition associated with the event.
