Hyderabad, Apr 1: Para cyclists trained at the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF), representing the Indian Paracycling Team, delivered a stellar performance at the Asian Track Championships 2026, held at the Tagaytay Velodrome, Philippines, clinching a remarkable 11 medals and bringing immense pride to the nation.

Vishwa put up a consistent and composed performance across events, securing five silver medals in the 1km Time Trial, Elimination Race, Sprint, Scratch Race, and Individual Pursuit, reflecting strong execution and determination throughout the competition.

Lisha further strengthened India’s medal tally with a commendable performance, securing two silver medals in the Elimination Race and Sprint, along with three bronze medals in the 1km Time Trial, Scratch Race, and Individual Pursuit, underlining her all-round competitive excellence.

Adding to this success, Pavan Kumar clinched a bronze medal in the Elimination Race, reflecting the depth, resilience, and emerging strength of India’s para cycling talent.

In total, athletes trained at AMF secured an impressive 7 silver and 4 bronze medals, a testament to the foundation’s high-performance training ecosystem, scientific approach, and unwavering commitment to athlete development.

Total 11 countries participated. 

This outstanding achievement marks a significant milestone for Indian para cycling on the international stage, reinforcing the nation’s growing presence and competitive edge in track cycling.
