03/07/2024- The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is set to host the Global IndiaAI Summit 2024 on July 3rd and 4th, marking a significant event in India’s commitment to responsible artificial intelligence (AI) development. The summit will gather international delegates, AI experts, and policymakers to discuss challenges and opportunities in AI amidst India’s leadership in the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI).
Inaugurated by Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Railways, and Information & Broadcasting, and Shri Jitin Prasad, Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Commerce and Industry, the summit will focus on key AI themes including Compute Capacity, Foundational Models, Datasets, Application Development, Future Skills, Startup Financing, and Safe and Trusted AI.
This platform aims to foster global collaboration and innovation, reinforcing India’s role in shaping ethical AI standards and promoting inclusive socio-economic growth worldwide
