03/07/2024- Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Shri G Kishan Reddy, inaugurated the NIRMAN portal in New Delhi as part of Coal India Limited’s CSR initiative aligned with PM Modi’s “Mission Karmayogi.” The portal aims to assist meritorious youth from Coal India’s operational districts who cleared the UPSC Preliminary exams in 2024.
Under the NIRMAN scheme, eligible candidates from SC, ST, female, or third gender categories, with annual family incomes below Rs 8 lakhs, will receive Rs 1,00,000 in financial support. This initiative promotes transparency and digital inclusivity, reflecting India’s vision of Digital India.
