Bengaluru, Mar 7: On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals has launched its new campaign #StrengthInSisterhood, celebrating the powerful network of women who support mothers through every stage of the motherhood journey — from fertility and pregnancy to childbirth and recovery.
Motherhood is often seen through the joyful lens of welcoming a new life. However, the journey begins much earlier and is marked by physical, emotional, and mental transformation. From the first positive pregnancy test — or even earlier in fertility clinics — to the powerful moment of childbirth, women display immense resilience and strength.
Through the #StrengthInSisterhood campaign, Cloudnine highlights the often-unseen circle of women who stand beside every mother. This sisterhood includes obstetricians guiding safe deliveries, nurses offering reassurance through labour, lactation consultants supporting the first feed, and physiotherapists helping mothers regain strength after childbirth. Beyond hospital walls, mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, and friends also form an emotional support system that helps women navigate the challenges and joys of motherhood.
For many women, the journey begins even before pregnancy, in fertility clinics where hope and patience shape the path to becoming a mother. Here too, women supporting women plays a vital role, with doctors, embryologists, counsellors, and families coming together to guide women through moments of uncertainty and possibility.
Speaking on the launch of the campaign, Suresh Pandiyan, Chief Operating Officer, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, said:
