Ashok Leyland Reports 28 Percent Growth in February 2026 Domestic Sales; Total Vehicle Sales Up 24% Including Exports

Chennai, Mar 02: Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group and one of India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, reported strong sales performance for February 2026, registering robust growth across key segments in both domestic and overall markets.

Domestic Performance – February 2026

The company recorded total domestic sales of 20,314 units in February 2026 as against 15,879 units in February 2025, marking a healthy 28% growth year-on-year.

  • M&HCV Trucks: 11,599 units (up 39% from 8,368 units)

  • M&HCV Buses: 1,665 units (down 4% from 1,742 units)

  • Total M&HCV: 13,264 units (up 31% from 10,110 units)

  • LCV: 7,050 units (up 22% from 5,769 units)

On a cumulative basis (April–February FY26), domestic sales stood at 1,78,612 units, compared to 1,57,332 units in the corresponding period last year, reflecting a 14% growth.

Domestic + Exports Performance – February 2026

Including exports, total vehicle sales for February 2026 reached 22,157 units, compared to 17,903 units in February 2025, registering a 24% growth.

  • M&HCV Trucks: 11,907 units (up 33% from 8,922 units)

  • M&HCV Buses: 2,848 units (up 11% from 2,564 units)

  • Total M&HCV: 14,755 units (up 28% from 11,486 units)

  • LCV: 7,402 units (up 15% from 6,417 units)

Cumulative total sales (Domestic + Exports) for the financial year so far stood at 1,95,056 units, compared to 1,71,037 units during the same period last year, reflecting a 14% increase.

The consistent growth across M&HCV Trucks and LCV segments underscores strong demand momentum and the company’s focused strategy across domestic and international markets.
