2nd September 2024: Buckle up Bae-FFs, as the highly anticipated album from Ananya Panday’s debut streaming series ‘Call Me Bae’ has just dropped, delivering a vibrant mix of moods, genres, and emotions capturing the essence of the series. The 10-track album is set to capture a spot in your favourite playlist taking you on a journey of love, identity, and self-discovery. The music album surely adds to the excitement for the awaited premiere on September 6th.
Whether you’re head-over-heels in love, mending a broken heart, or just vibing with life, there’s a track here for every moment. Setting the tone with the sensationally loved urban pop track ‘Vekh Sohneyaa’, composed, written, and performed by the duo Charan and Bombay the Artist, and produced by Dishant. The upbeat dance-pop number ‘Warey’, composed, produced and backed by the vocals of Abhijeet Srivastava, written by Shloke Lal, celebrates connection without any boundaries. On the emotional spectrum, ‘Churaaiyaan’, written by Shayra Apoorva, produced and composed by Abhijeet Srivastava, sung by Suvarna Tiwari and Mudit Chaturvedi is a heartbreak fusion of sounds.
The melancholy continues with ‘Yaara Tere Bin’, a pop track by Lisa Mishra, Ruuh, and Joh which echoes the longing and emptiness felt after lost love. ‘Khwaish Adhoori’, composed by Rochak Kohli, penned by Gurpreet Saini along with Akanksha Sethi’s vocals and produced by Sanjoy captures unfulfilled desires, while ‘Mumbai Hustle’, a hip-hop track by Shravan Mantri, Karan Khushlani, Shravan Mantri; Rajjo and produced by VE_DUB reflects the dynamic energy of Mumbai, capturing the city’s relentless pace and the drive to succeed. The album also features the unplugged, stripped-down version of ‘Yaara Tere Bin – Reprise’, by Lisa Mishra, Ruuh, Joh, and Smriti Bhoker, which leaves you feeling all the feels.
Soulful Jubin Nautiyal returns with ‘Khwaish Poori’, along with Rochak Kohli, inspiring listeners to chase their dreams and embrace change. Romance then takes over with ‘Baatein’, a pop ballad by Ruuh, Joh, Smriti Bhoker and Delraaz Bunshah, while ‘Kyaa Karun’ composed by Pranay Parti and sung by Danish Pratap Sood, continues this theme with a soft romantic vibe. With a song for every mood, the album offers a perfect blend of emotions, making it a must-listen for fans of the show and music lovers alike.

Call Me Bae is a Dharmatic Entertainment production, with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra as executive producers. The series is created by Ishita Moitra, who has co-written it alongside Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair. Directed by Collin D’Cunha, Call me Bae is the story of Bae, who upon being downsized from heiress to hustler, discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self. This 8-part series stars Ananya Panday in the lead role, and features an ensemble cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. The series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and 240 countries and territories worldwide on Sept 6.
