Nagpur:On the occasion of International Women’s Day, HCG Cancer Centre, Nagpur organized a meaningful celebration bringing together patients, caregivers, and their relatives through a creative Dupatta Painting Activity. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Neeta Rajwar, COO, HCG Cancer Centre, Nagpur, along with doctors and staff members of the hospital.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from patients, caregivers, and their family members, who expressed their creativity by painting colourful dupattas. The activity created a joyful and engaging atmosphere, offering participants a moment of relaxation, positivity, and emotional support during their cancer treatment journey.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Neeta Rajwar, COO, HCG Cancer Centre, Nagpur, said,
“Women’s health awareness is extremely important, especially when it comes to early detection of breast cancer. Through such initiatives, we aim to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to take charge of their health while also creating moments of hope and positivity for our patients and caregivers.”
As part of the awareness initiative, the hospital also distributed mirror booklets among staff members and patients’ relatives to spread awareness about Self Breast Examination (SBE). These booklets help women understand the correct method of regularly checking their breasts, encouraging early detection and timely medical consultation if any abnormalities are noticed.
The event concluded on a positive note, highlighting the importance of awareness, creativity, and emotional support in the journey of cancer care.
