New Delhi, March 16: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang yesterday met a team of super-specialist doctors from Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute (PSRI Hospital) at his official residence and appreciated their efforts in providing specialised healthcare services to the people of the state.

The distinguished medical team had recently conducted a free health check-up camp on March 14 at Sir Thutob Namgyal Memorial Hospital, in collaboration with the Garib Jan Kalyan Prakosta. The camp focused on specialised consultations and screening services in the fields of renal, liver, haematology, and oncology, benefiting a large number of patients.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister lauded the doctors for their commitment and compassionate service, noting that such initiatives play a crucial role in bringing advanced medical expertise closer to the people, particularly those who may not otherwise have access to super-speciality healthcare.
He expressed gratitude to the entire team for their dedicated service and conveyed his hope that similar initiatives would continue in the future for the greater benefit of the people of Sikkim.
