Gurugram,14th April 2025: On the historic occasion of World Parkinson’s Day 2025, the Artemis Group of Hospitals, Gurugram, is proud to declare a significant milestone in combating Parkinson’s disease. Designed to create awareness, offer solutions, and increase community support for those suffering from this debilitating neurological condition. As a beacon of innovation and compassionate treatment, Artemis Hospitals is committed to transforming the Parkinson’s care environment in India through education, advocacy, and digital accessibility.
Key highlights of the event
The event marked the successful launch of Crrestpark.in, a well-conceived digital platform for Parkinson’s disease. It is a website resource centre that aims to bridge the information gap by providing accurate, current information, expert opinion, and support materials designed for patients and healthcare professionals.
In addition to this, Artemis Hospitals initiated a formal Parkinson’s Support Group, promoting belongingness through sharing experiences, professional counselling, and ongoing community contact to enable better adaptation to life with Parkinson’s.
The highlight of one of the most awaited events was the panel discussion, where the best medical minds came together to present the latest research and treatment developments. The panel included Dr. Sumit Singh (Chief – Neurology), Dr. Aditya Gupta (Chairperson – Neurosurgery & CNS Radiosurgery & Co-Chief – Cyberknife Centre) Dr. Mohit Anand (Consultant Neurologist & Movement Disorders) & Dr. Archna Sharma (Associate Consultant – Neurology). The session stressed the need for early detection, multidisciplinary management, and individualized treatments in enhancing the quality of life of patients. This inspiring event reasserted Artemis Hospital’s vision of transforming Parkinson’s care in India through awareness, innovation, and comprehensive support systems.
Present at the event Dr. Sumit Singh said “Crrestpark.in marks a new chapter in empowering individuals with Parkinson’s and their families. With the right information, support, and community, no one has to face Parkinson’s alone.”
As per Dr. Aditya Gupta “Living with Parkinson’s is a journey — and every journey needs a map and a companion. Crrestpark.in provides both, offering trusted guidance and heartfelt support every step of the way.”
Let’s Unite for Parkinson’s Awareness
With CRRESTPARK, Artemis Hospitals is taking a significant step toward improving online healthcare for brain-related illnesses. This new platform provides patients and their loved ones with trustworthy information and useful resources. It also unites people to share and learn from each other, building a caring and well-informed community. This is a strong step towards greater support, awareness, and early treatment of people with Parkinson’s disease. We also plan to start a forum on the site where patients can interact with other patients and with Crrest team to form a community.
“This program is not just a step in the right direction, it’s a bridge between information, compassion, and community. From panel discussions led by experts to support groups, we’re empowering people with the skills, guidance, and resilience they need to face Parkinson’s disease with confidence and hope. It’s about moving awareness into action and making treatment compassionate and accessible.”
