New Delhi, Mar 12: Ashiana Housing Ltd. successfully concluded the 12th edition of Jashn, its flagship senior citizen sports and cultural festival, at Ashiana Advik, Bhiwadi (NCR). Held from February 26 to 28, Jashn-12 brought together senior residents from across India, including Ashiana Utsav, Ashiana Nirmay, and Ashiana Advik (Phase 1) in Bhiwadi (NCR), along with Ashiana Utsav, Jaipur; Ashiana Utsav, Lavasa; and Ashiana Shubham, Chennai, for three vibrant days of sports, creativity, and community bonding.
The three-day festival witnessed participation from over 800 senior residents, who came together with remarkable enthusiasm and competitive spirit. Residents actively engaged in a wide spectrum of activities including cycling, relay walk events, badminton, table tennis, chess, carrom, rummy, and pool. Creative expression found equal spotlight through painting, rangoli, crochet, singing, dance, and sudoku competitions. Team photo sessions, community meals, and informal interactions further strengthened the sense of belonging across communities.
Adding star power to the celebrations, actor and model Ms. Beila Gupta graced Jashn-12 as the ramp walk judge. Known for redefining age norms in the entertainment industry, she brought warmth and encouragement to participants while applauding the vibrant spirit of the senior residents.
Sharing her experience, Ms. Beila Gupta said,
“It was truly inspiring to witness the energy and joy of the residents at Jashn-12. Events like these beautifully challenge the notion of ageing by showing that passion, creativity, and enthusiasm only grow stronger with time. The cultural evenings emerged as standout highlights. The Sufi Night on February 27 created a soulful and memorable experience for residents, while the grand Gala Evening on February 28 featured a piano recital, group dance performances, a Bollywood-inspired ramp walk, and the much-awaited trophy handover ceremony. The festival concluded with a celebratory dinner at the Treehouse Back Lawn.
