Reflecting on the impact the film has had, she revealed, “Most of those who watched this movie told me that their sons now want to join the military, and that is so inspiring.” She also expressed her deep connection to Malayalam cinema, saying, “I’m grateful I did my first film in Kerala, I really hope I do another one soon. She credited the song that made her a household name, sharing, “Malaree song has made me famous.”
