Mumbai, Mar 13: International cricket umpire Anil Chaudhary has stepped into the world of acting with his debut appearance in the Haryanvi gangster anthem “Goli Toh Chalegi.” Directed by filmmaker Suman Guha and produced by Naresh Jha under the banner of Epic Films, the song is already drawing attention for its bold theme and cinematic presentation.

 Sung by Diamond, the music video has been shot in a stylized format, giving it the feel of a high-octane action short film. Actors Rohit Kharb, Chandani Raut, and Hemesh Dixit feature alongside Chaudhary, adding strong screen presence to the production.

Speaking about his first experience facing the camera, Anil Chaudhary said he felt comfortable performing as he is already used to speaking in front of audiences during cricket commentary in Haryanvi. He also thanked director Suman Guha and producer Naresh Jha for the opportunity, adding that the shoot was an enjoyable experience and that both umpiring and acting bring their own excitement.

Director Suman Guha, who has built a strong reputation in the fashion industry and is now making a mark in music video direction, expressed gratitude to the guests who attended the grand launch event. He also shared that two more songs are already in the pipeline, each featuring fresh and unique concepts.

The launch event was attended by several well-known personalities including Rajniesh Duggall, Gurmeet Choudhary, Rajeev Sen, Mishika Chaurasia, Siddhi Ahuja, Vipin Bhardwaj, and Priyanka, who congratulated Anil Chaudhary on his acting debut.

After watching the song, Rajniesh Duggall praised the performance and appreciated director Suman Guha’s creative vision, noting that he has previously collaborated with the director on multiple music videos.

Producer Naresh Jha also revealed that Epic Films plans to release one new song every month, highlighting the banner’s ambitious content strategy for the coming year.

With “Goli Toh Chalegi,” Anil Chaudhary marks a surprising yet impactful transition from the cricket field to the screen, showcasing a new dimension of his talent that audiences are eager to explore.
