Delhi/ Uttar Pradesh, 14th May 2024: VidyaGyan, a leadership academy nurturing rural talent in Uttar Pradesh, announced the CBSE Board exam performance of its Grade XII students today. Among the 144 graduating students (Bulandshahr and Sitapur), 86 have achieved remarkable scores above 90%.
Arpit Baliyan from VidyaGyan, Bulandshahr, secured the highest marks in the Science stream with a stellar 97.50%. He recently cleared the exam for JEE Mains and NDA as well. Inspired by VidyaGyan alumni like Capt Anuj Dhariwal, Arpit is inclined towards joining the services. Arpit is known as a problem-solver by his peers and has been a guide to his juniors as well in school.
Following closely are Amrita from VidyaGyan, Bulandshahr and Ragini Tiwari from VidyaGyan- Sitapur, with a score of 97.25% in Science and Humanities respectively. Amrita aspires to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science with the dream of becoming a software engineer. Despite her passion for painting, which she enjoys in her spare time, Amrita made a deliberate choice in favor of computer science over pursuing a path in fine arts such as NID or NIFT.

This year’s accomplishments further accentuate VidyaGyan’s commitment to nurturing academic excellence and holistic development among rural students. Earlier in the year, Akash Verma, a bright talent from VidyaGyan, Sitapur, secured a full scholarship to Northwestern University in the United States, while Roshni Chaurasia earned a partial scholarship at Wesleyan University, USA.
Every year, VidyaGyan handpicks approximately 200 top-performing rural students, out of an extensive pool of 250,000 applicants from across the country. These children come from families with an annual income of less than one lac per annum. The Academy focuses on all-round development of the students and invests in several programs in curricular and co-curricular activities for the same.
