Mumbai, Jan 24: Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a leading educational resource provider and trusted publishing house, recently concluded a series of insightful workshops for school principals and teachers in Nashik and Chiplun. The workshops, conducted by renowned education experts, received a remarkable response from the educators.
The first workshop, held in Nashik, focused on the topic ‘Web Tools in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment’ and was led by Dr. Hema Bhadawkar, Associate Professor at K.J. Somaiya School of Education, Somaiya Vidyavihar University. Dr. Hema provided valuable insights on various web tools for teaching, such as Google Classroom, Canva, and Pear Deck. She also covered assessment tools like Google Forms, Socrative, and Edpuzzle. The interactive session was designed to be hands-on, encouraging participants to explore these tools practically on their laptops. Teachers and principals had the opportunity to ask questions and engage with Dr. Hema, enriching their learning experience.
In Chiplun, a second workshop on ‘Curriculum Development’ was led by Dr. Arundhati Chavan, former Director of the Centre for Distance Education at SNDT Women’s University. Dr. Arundhati provided an in-depth overview of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its vision for curriculum development. She emphasized the importance of aligning curriculum with learners’ needs, incorporating 21st-century skills, and moving beyond traditional content to foster holistic child development. Dr. Arundhati also recommended integrating project-based learning, art-based learning, and real-life experiences into the curriculum to enhance students’ learning journeys.
