Indore, Mar 17: SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM), Indore, successfully organized its three-day academic and management program ‘Biz Arena’, bringing together industry experts, academicians, and students to deliberate on contemporary themes in management, technology, and strategic thinking.
The event commenced with an address by Director Dr. Anshuman Jaswal, who encouraged students to cultivate innovation, leadership, and analytical thinking. The Chief Guest, Sunil Khandelwal, emphasized the importance of professional ethics, strong values, and continuous learning in the corporate world.
Following the inaugural session, a series of management competitions were conducted, testing students on strategy formulation, financial analysis, marketing decision-making, and real-time problem-solving. These activities created a competitive and experiential learning environment, enabling participants to apply theoretical knowledge to practical business scenarios.
‘StoryCraft 2.0’ Focuses on Data, AI, and Strategic Thinking
A key highlight of the program was ‘StoryCraft 2.0 – Weaving Numbers into Narratives’, which featured insightful discussions on the evolving role of data, artificial intelligence, and decision-making.
Industry leaders including Rajendra Chitale (Noventiq), Vijoy Basu (Ferguson), Dinesh Patel (Shakti Pumps), Nikhil Raibole (Ogilvy), Subhanka Roy Choudhury, Yuddhamanyu Pandey, Prasanna S. Pachwadkar, Sanjeev Khanna, and Nikhil Kumar shared valuable insights.
Speakers highlighted how AI is augmenting human capabilities, the importance of keeping “humans in the loop,” and the need to transform data into meaningful business narratives. Discussions also underscored the role of clarity in modern marketing, personal branding, learning from failures, and building trust in sectors such as banking.

The session was evaluated by industry professionals including Tanveer Javedi, Shanu Saxena, Naresh Chadar, and Abhishek Ranjan, who provided constructive feedback and guidance to students.
