Sanskriti University hosts fifth convocation ceremony, confers 1482 degrees

Mathura: Sanskriti University, Mathura held its fifth convocation ceremony on campus. The Chief Guest, Ram Nath Kovind, Former President of India, graced the occasion with his presence and delivered the convocation address. The university conferred degrees upon the graduates from the 2023-24 academic year, marking a significant milestone in their academic achievements.

During the event, a total of 1,482 degrees were awarded to students across various programs, including Management, Engineering, Law and Legal Studies, Education, Hospitality and Pharmacy. This comprised 927 Undergraduate degrees, 339 Diplomas, 182 Postgraduate degrees, and 34 PhD degrees. Additionally, a total of 98 students were honored for their achievements: 37 students received gold medals, 36 students were awarded silver medals, and 35 students earned bronze medals, highlighting their exceptional performance and dedication.

While delivering the convocation address, Former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind said, Congratulated to all the students for their bright future he said, “The main goal of our education system is to make our youth and student’s good individuals and responsible citizens. The education you have received from this university will make you more capable of reaching your goals. To reach here, you, your parents, and your teachers have worked very hard. You are very fortunate to be part of this university and always remember, Never compare yourself to others because everyone has their own unique talents.”

He further added, “It doesn’t matter what background you come from; if you are determined, you can achieve anything with dedication and hard work. You students are very fortunate to be born in the 21st century, where you have all the facilities that make studying easier.”

Sachin Gupta, the Chancellor of Sanskriti University said, “the convocation is a very important event for the students. It shows how hard they have worked and how dedicated they have been. He expressed pride in seeing the students start new chapters in their lives and make valuable contributions to society.”

The Vice-Chancellor of Sanskriti University, Prof. (Dr.) M. B. Chetti presented the annual report, highlighting the key achievements and progress made by the university over the years.
