Admissions are now open to new-age programmes such as BTech in Data Science, BTech in Cyber Security, BTech in IoT and Automation and Integrated Masters in Business Administration that have been designed to provide students with skill sets aligned to the future world of work. Students can also opt for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering, BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, BTech in Biotechnology, 5-year integrated Mtech and 3-year BBA programmes after class 12.
Another unique feature of the university is 1-year Industry Practice in the fourth year of BTech without compromising on the discipline of core courses. This 1-year Industry Practice offers an opportunity for students to get engaged in major project of the organization. It can place the student on a higher platform as s/he enters her/ his first job with one year of experience compared to her/ his counterpart.
Students applying with JEE score are exempted from the NU Aptitude Test (NUAT) and can appear directly for the Personal Interaction with our faculty panel. Students who already applied earlier maybe eligible for a scholarship upgrade on the basis of their JEE score. NU offers Special scholarship, Co-curricular Scholarship, Special Fee Waiver, with awards ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹200,000 annually to eligible students.

This includes industry-originated classroom projects and summer internships. In fact, NU’s BTech programmes allocate 35% of their weightage to practical learning opportunities.
