KIIT World School Celebrates World Press Freedom DayGurugram: Students of KIIT World School celebrated World Press Freedom Day with a dynamic program titled “Press Freedom: A People’s Voice.” The event showcased their creativity and highlighted the importance of a free press in a vibrant democracy. Children showed the rights of press and journalists and their struggle through poems, riddles, crossword puzzles etc. of freedom.

During a school assembly, students presented their work proudly, sparking discussions about the crucial role of independent media in shaping societal perspectives.

The principal of KIIT World School, Dr. Neelima Kamrah, said, “I was truly amazed by the creativity and passion our students displayed during the World Press Freedom Day program. Their ‘KIIT Memoir’ was a wonderful example of how young minds can engage with critical issues. This event serves as a reminder that a free press empowers not only journalists but all of us to be informed citizens and active participants in our communities.
