August 16, 2024, National: Masai School, a platform that builds a bridge connecting skills with opportunities, has succeeded in accomplishing the dreams of more than 5000 students across India. Working as an outcome-driven career institute, it has trained more than 100 batches and scaled up over the years with 6,000 current enrollments. Completing five years this month, the organization has ensured to fulfill its sole goal of unlocking the human potential of India by making the education system outcome-driven.
Mohammed Tanveer is a passionate individual hailing from Bengaluru, Karnataka. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he had to drop out of school in fifth grade to support his family. He worked hard to serve his family financially until child laws forced him to discontinue the journey. Despite hurdles and challenges, Tanveer reignited his passion for education and with his sister’s support, he turned towards Masai for newer opportunities. Speaking about his journey with Masai, he expressed, “I always dreamt of working in the IT department. Due to unexpected events, pursuing education became impossible for me. After joining Masai, the table turned, and everything seemed easy and inflow. I relearned foundational skills and mastered HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the MERN Stack.” Post-Masai, Tanveer secured a Software Developer role at Influx Worldwide with an impressive salary, transforming his career and bringing pride to his family.
Sachin’s CV from Bengaluru, Karnataka, pursued Electronics and Communication. Unsatisfied with the course and the college curriculum, he experimented with different courses on his own. He learnt digital marketing, website development, and managing social media. He developed an interest in coding (PHP) but struggled with complex concepts. Talking about his journey with Masai, he expressed “I got to know about Masai through an advertisement. Attracted by its curriculum and model, I requested my parents to grant me a year to find the right path for myself. I was selected after one of the founders, Yogesh sir, took my interview. My mentor, Nrupul and Aman, fueled my passion and kept me motivated throughout my journey. I secured a job right after six months of joining Masai. Currently, I work for GoKwik and aspire to advance in ML and AI”.
Another Alumnus, Akshay Kadam hails from Jamkhandi, Karnataka. His passion for gaming attracted him to learning technology. Going through an accident he had to face several hurdles to pass his higher education and BTech. Despite having a degree, he found it hard to get placements due to several backlogs. Looking for a fresh start, Akshay enrolled in Masai, hoping for structured guidance. Sharing his experience, he said, “Unlike schools and colleges, Masai has a very different teaching model and curriculum. Its rigorous 9-9-6 schedule and collaborative project demands discipline. Throughout my journey in Masai, I learnt about new technologies like React.js, and React Native and quickly picked up other technologies as well. I secured a position at Urban Piper within 10 days of graduation in May 2021.”
