10th June 2024- The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024. As per the official announcement, candidates can access their results on the examination website, jeeadv.ac.in, using their login credentials. Additionally, the institute has released the final answer key of the test along with the results.
Ved Lahoti, hailing from the IIT Delhi zone, secured the top position in the entrance test with an impressive score of 355 out of 360 marks. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone emerged as the female topper with 332 marks.
This year witnessed a total of 1,86,584 candidates registering for the exam, out of which 1,80,200 took both papers. Among them, 48,248 candidates have successfully qualified. Participants can check their scorecards for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on the official website.
The JEE Advanced exam was conducted on May 26, 2024, in two sessions across various centres nationwide, following the publication of the answer key on June 2. Notably, only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2024 students are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced. This year’s cut-off marks for JEE Advanced saw an increase, with the minimum cut-off for general category candidates in JEE Main 2024 standing at 93.2 percentile.
