Greater Noida, Mar 27: Galgotias University has achieved a significant milestone in global academia by being ranked in the 601–650 band worldwide for Computer Science and Information Systems in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2026.
This recognition reflects the university’s consistent efforts in strengthening its academic and research ecosystem, with a focus on delivering industry-aligned education and fostering innovation. In India, the university ranks 11th among private institutions and 30th overall among both government and private universities in this subject category, marking steady progress in the national and global education landscape.
The achievement highlights Galgotias University’s commitment to academic excellence through its Student-Centered Active Learning Ecosystem and its growing capabilities in emerging domains such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and software engineering.

In the overall QS World University Rankings 2026, Galgotias University is placed in the 1201–1400 global band and ranks 15th among private universities and 43rd overall in India. The university has also been accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC in its first cycle and ranked in the 1001–1200 band globally by Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025.
These recognitions underscore the university’s focus on teaching excellence, research impact, industry integration, and global engagement, positioning it as a key contributor to India’s knowledge economy.
