The MVPP 2024 has witnessed an outstanding performance from AESL students. Among these achievers are exemplary students such as Ishant Yadav securing Rank 1, Ram Agarwal at Rank 3, Prisha Miglani at Rank 5, Arnav Singh and Pranjal Manna jointly securing Rank 7, and Kavish Bakshi at Rank 9, among others.

The Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP) is a scholarship examination for Class 9 students enrolled in recognized schools, Government or Government Aided, and Unaided recognized Pvt. Schools including the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, School of MCD, NDMC, DCB, etc., in GNCT of Delhi. Formerly known as the Junior Science Talent Search Exam (JSTSE), MVPP aims to identify and nurture young talents. This exam is conducted at the state level between January to March by the Science Branch of the Directorate of Education in Delhi. The student applying for the examination must have secured 60% marks in Class 8. A 5% relaxation in marks is given to students belonging to SC/ST and PH categories. The qualified candidates whose merit is within 1000 (Category) are eligible for a one-time scholarship certificate.
The examination consists of two papers: A mental Ability Test (MAT) comprising Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Interpretation, and a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) covering various subjects including Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Civics, History, Economics, and Geography. Both the papers are MCQ-based, of 100 marks each, and have a duration of 120 minutes, respectively.
