Bangalore, Jan 19: Among the most popular New Year goals is eating better: lighter, cleaner, more mindful. In Japanese culture, renewal is more than a feeling; it’s a ritual. Yet convenience often gets in the way, and good intentions melt fast when outside food beckons. At Kuuraku Nexus Shantiniketan, staying true to your resolutions has never been more delicious. This season, Kuuraku is spotlighting guilt-free favourites from its grand menu, celebrating pure Japanese flavours, mindful cooking, and the joy of interactive charcoal grilling.

Vegetarian diners can dive into the Vegetable Skewers Course, featuring five varieties of seasonal vegetables, gently charcoal-grilled with minimal oil. Light seasoning enhances their natural sweetness while the smoky aroma delivers deep satisfaction without heaviness. Pair it with Kuuraku’s original Bagna Cauda, an Italian classic reimagined with Japanese sensibilities, turning crisp, fresh vegetables into a fun, flavour-forward ritual.

For non-vegetarians, the spotlight shines on Charcoal-Grilled Yakitori, Kuuraku’s signature offering. Prepared exclusively by certified yakitori chefs who have passed rigorous examinations, each skewer is cooked over traditional charcoal, allowing excess fat to drip away and resulting in succulent, flavour-packed bites. Finished simply with salt or a soy-based tare, the yakitori lets pure umami take centre stage. Both vegetarians and non-vegetarians will find balance in the Sushi Menu, where fresh seafood or seasonal vegetables meet delicately vinegared rice clean, light, and perfectly satisfying.

Adding to the excitement, Kuuraku is introducing house-made goma-dofu (sesame tofu) this month. Crafted in-house for exceptional freshness, it’s set to become a standout healthy favourite. To make the experience even more engaging, diners who share their New Year’s resolutions at the table receive a complimentary vegetable skewer, while everyone gets a spin at a Japanese gachapon machine, dispensing wellness-inspired surprises.

Rooted in tradition yet refreshingly modern, Kuuraku Nexus Shantiniketan blends health, flavour, and fun, inviting Bengaluru to embrace fresh beginnings and savour them well into 2026.
