Ghaziabad, 24th February, 2025: Wave City and Sarvodaya Helathcare have joined hands to organise a marathon at Wave City on Sunday, February 23. With an aim to spread the message of fitness, determination and team work, the marathon started from Wave City at 5:30 in the morning.
With the nip in the morning air still present in the Delhi-NCR region, the marathon gave a perfect opportunity for residents to lace up and test their fitness skills. Besides the marathon, zumba sessions, 3-km run and selfie contest were also being organised to ensure wholesome participation across age-groups.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. C J Singh, COO, Wave City said, “In today’s age when sedentary lifestyles are inflicting our societies with diseases, it becomes extremely crucial for the society to embrace fitness in order to lead fulfilling lives. This marathon is a step towards ensuring residents of Ghaziabad are encouraged to live healthy lifestyles which include physical activities and provide inspiration to citizens across age-groups. We hope this initiative will further fuel the fitness revolution taking shape in the country.”
All the participants got t-shirts and participation certificates while the winners were rewarded with trophies.
