Mumbai, India Mar 11th: Tawana Burnett, Meta Head of Top Accounts & Agencies, APAC has been appointed Jury Chair at Abby Awards 2026 Powered by The One Club | The One Show in the new category of Social Content and Influencer Marketing.
For the last 25 years, Tawana has been a part of teams behind some of the largest and most influential global brands and advertising agencies across the US, EMEA, LATAM and most recently APAC.
At Meta where she and her team advise CMOs, business leaders and agency partners on how best to use digital and emerging advertising and commerce solutions to accelerate the growth of their brands. Prior to Meta, Tawana led multi-million brand and award-winning product teams at Intuit, LeapFrog, J&J and Pfizer, building and launching hundreds of new and innovative products such as QuickBooks, Listerine, Advil and ChapStick.
A passion for diversity in business, in 2019 Tawana was Featured in Adweek’s Women Trailblazers for her active mentorship and investment in over 15 companies founded by women and for her participation in the ground-breaking #biascorrect campaign aimed to correct bias and elevate the discussion of women in leadership positions.
She was inducted into the Ad Age Global Leading Women Class of 2023, The List in 2024 and was selected as a juror for Spikes Asia and Mad Stars 2024.
Tawana served as co-lead for the Singapore Inclusion Council at Meta and the IAB SouthEast Asia & India Board. She currently serves as a board member for the IAA SEA and the Ronald McDonald House NYC.
Originally from NYC, she currently lives in Singapore with her husband and their daughter.
