Chennai, Feb 19th: The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India will host the Sri Sathya Sai Run & Ride Chennai 2026 on March 8, 2026, as part of the Centenary Year Celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba at Blue Lagoon Resort, Neelankarai, Chennai. Organised in collaboration with the Government of India’s Fit India Movement, the event aims to inspire citizens—especially youth—to embrace health, unity, and selfless service.
Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation is a global spiritual and service-based institution. The foundation of this organization is built upon humanity, showing love toward all living beings, and serving everyone as a form of worship to the Divine. Beyond the boundaries of race, religion, language, and nation, volunteers inspired by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s life, teachings, and his unparalleled service to mankind involve themselves selflessly in various service activities, including healthcare, education, providing drinking water, and feeding the hungry.
As part of the centenary initiatives, the Run & Ride series is being conducted nationwide to promote physical well-being, balanced living, and the spirit of unity through collective participation.
The Chennai chapter of the Run & Ride initiative seeks to create awareness about fitness, mindful living, love, and service to society. The event welcomes participants to join the Marathon (long-distance running) and Cyclathon (long-distance cycling) and celebrate the spirit of togetherness.
Kit Distribution: Free T-shirts and Bibs will be provided to participants on March 7, 2026, at the Sundaram Sri Sathya Sai Baba Temple, RA Puram, Chennai between 9 AM to 5:30 PM. Participant Perks: All participants will receive a Medal, Refreshments, and an E-certificate free of charge.
This initiative champions the mission of Fit India while reinforcing the values of unity and service. Organisers invite citizens of all ages to participate in large numbers and encourage runners and riders as they come together for a healthier and more compassionate society.
