WATSONVILLE, Calif., March 3 — The California Strawberry Commission will conduct a special meeting (Pursuant to Government Code Section 11125.4(c) relative to holding a special meeting on less than 10 days’ notice) on March 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at 180 Westridge Dr., Watsonville, CA.
This meeting has been called and noticed pursuant to the special meeting provision of the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act (Act), which allows for a meeting to consider pending litigation on less than 10 days’ notice when such a delay would cause an undue hardship. Specifically, pending litigation related to Public Resources Code 42355.51 could affect the sustainability of berry production and therefore a Special Meeting has been called.
