Mumbai, August 19, 2024: Salaam Bombay Foundation is thrilled to announce a captivating showcase of photographic talent by our Media Academy students in celebration of World Photography Day 2024. This year’s theme, ‘An Entire Day,’ served as an inspiring canvas for our young photographers, who come from resource-challenged backgrounds. From the thousands of submissions received, the selected few photographs will be displayed in Anuyog Vidyalaya, N.M Joshi Marg School, Maneklal Mehta MPS School, Sadhana Vidyalaya and S.G. Barve Nagar School.
The photography panels, inaugurated by the respective school principals, highlight the extraordinary perspectives and creativity of our students. From dawn to dusk, these images capture compelling stories of everyday life, hope, resilience, and beauty. Some photographs vividly depict the daily struggles of Mumbaikars, while others showcase iconic views such as the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and Ghatkopar’s long stretch of pipelines. Aligned with this year’s World Photography Day theme, “An Entire Day,” these visual narratives not only highlight the technical skills and artistic vision of the students but also serve as an enduring source of inspiration for their peers and future generations.

At Salaam Bombay Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their potential and express themselves.
