Nissan Expands Karnataka Network with 3 New Bengaluru Touchpoints and Launches 4th-Gen X-TRAIL

Bengaluru, 14 August 2024: Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) announced today, the expansion of its network to 273 touchpoints across India with the launch of three new customer touchpoints in Bengaluru, comprising two showrooms and a service workshop. The addition of these new sales and service touchpoints to Nissan’s pan-India network demonstrates the company’s growing commitment to the Indian market and its valued customers, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing journey toward enhanced customer centricity.

The new Jubilant Nissan showrooms and service workshop were inaugurated by Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India. These inaugurations further enhance the brand’s reach and provide accessibility for customers and deepen the relationship between Jubilant MotorWorks and Nissan Motor India extending their reach from Delhi NCR to now in Bengaluru city. The new touchpoints are part of Nissan’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in key markets such as Bengaluru, and with the state of Karnataka playing a pivotal role in this plan.

Nissan also delivered the first of its recently introduced All-New 4th Generation ‘Made in Japan’ X-TRAIL, powered by Variable Compression Turbo technology to its very first customer in India at the Jubilant Nissan Showroom launch at Nagarbhavi. This is in line with Nissan’s commitment to start customer deliveries in August of the much-awaited 4th Generation X-TRAIL in India. The X-TRAIL is designed and delivered for automotive aficionados and customers seeking a harmonious blend of versatility, reliability, and practicality.

With the addition of Jubilant Nissan’s 3 new touchpoints in Bengaluru, Nissan now operates a total of 18 customer touchpoints in Karnataka, which includes 10 sales and 8 service touchpoints in Karnataka. The Karnataka state network will soon expand to 20 touchpoints with the addition of 2 new touchpoints in Mangalore, aligning with the brand’s aggressive growth strategy for the South region.

Commenting on the opening of the new touchpoints, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. The new Jubilant Nissan touchpoints will further strengthen our presence in Karnataka and meet the growing demand for Nissan’s domestic and CBU products. We are on track to touch 300 touchpoints by the end of this fiscal and the delivery of the first 4th Generation X-TRAIL to a former X-TRAIL owner and Nissan aficionado is a testament to our CBU business plans in India.”

The two new Jubilant Nissan showrooms have a combined display area of 6,600 sq. ft., while the state-of-the-art high-capacity Jubilant Nissan service workshop spans 13,600 sq. ft. Both the showrooms and the service workshop are equipped with high-quality amenities and staffed by knowledgeable, well-trained, and passionate sales and service professionals, ensuring a seamless car-buying and ownership experience for customers.

Nissan recently launched its All-New 4th Generation X-TRAIL as a CBU in India. Designed for a refined driving experience, the X-TRAIL features the world’s first production Variable Compression engine, delivering exceptional power and fuel efficiency. The SUV is equipped with the latest 3rd generation XTRONIC CVT, which includes D-Step Logic Control and Paddle Shifters for enhanced acceleration and seamless shifting. Furthermore, the 12V ALiS (Advanced Lithium-ion Battery System) mild hybrid technology significantly improves fuel economy, offering benefits such as torque assist, extended idle stop, quick restart, and reduced CO2 emissions.
