The Indian stock markets witnessed an extensive downturn on Tuesday as both benchmark indices, the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50, closed sharply decreased. The BSE Sensex plunged 930.55 factors, or 1.15%, to close at 80,220.72, at the same time as the NSE Nifty 50 dropped 309 factors, or 1.25%, to settle at 24,472.10.
The bearish sentiment took manage of the market, with 47 out of 50 shares in the Nifty 50 final inside the crimson.
