Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, ended their 5-day losing streak to close in the green all through Monday’s buying and selling session.
The BSE Sensex rose 498.58 points, or 0.64%, to settle at 78,540.17, even as the NSE Nifty 50 received one hundred 65 points, or zero.95%, final at 23,753.45.
Performance on BSE Sensex:
Out of 30 stocks, 20 closed in high-quality territory. Top gainers protected ITC, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, and IndusInd Bank. Major laggards had been Zomato, Maruti, and HCL Tech.
Performance on NSE Nifty 50:
