Chennai, Mar 23: The 9th edition of the Madras Juris Cricket League (MJCL) 2026, in association with Polymatech Electronics Limited and AEIM, successfully brought together the legal fraternity of Tamil Nadu in a vibrant celebration of sport, camaraderie, and community spirit. Organized by Advocate S. Karthikei Balan, the tournament featured advocates and legal professionals practicing at the High Court of Madras and its Madurai Bench and Polymatech team
A total of 14 teams competed in the four-day cricketing event, battling for the prestigious Dr. Justice A.R. Lakshmanan Rolling Trophy, symbolizing excellence and solidarity within the legal community. The league stood out for its inclusive format, going beyond traditional participation by featuring two special teams, one comprising personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and another consisting of staff members from the Madras High Court. This unique initiative underscored the league’s commitment to fostering unity, teamwork, and sportsmanship beyond professional boundaries.
The finale and awards presentation ceremony, held on, March 22, 2026, marked an exciting conclusion to the tournament, and the Awards Ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries from the legal and corporate fraternity:
