New Delhi, Feb 24: Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), Dwarka, celebrated its 31st Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at its campus. The occasion highlighted the institute’s inspiring three-decade journey, its commitment to academic excellence, and its significant role in shaping future leaders.

During the programme, distinguished alumni who have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields were honoured. The awardees included Sheetal Khanna (General Manager, Gold Plus Glass; Batch 1999–2001), Sahil Bhambri (National Sales Manager, Bajaj Finserv; Batch 2013–2015), Girdhari Lal (Director, Deloitte; Batch 2006–2008), Nitin Sachdeva (Head HR Business Partnering, BharatPe; Batch 2010–2012), and Puneet Swani (Partner & Head of Talent Solutions, AON; Batch 1997–1999).

The institute also recognised senior faculty members for their years of dedicated service. Among those honoured were Dr. Rajkumari Mittal, Dr. Sushil Kumar Dixit, and Dr. Samant Shant Priya.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Anil Shastri reflected on the founding vision of the institute, emphasising its mission to promote ethical leadership and a spirit of service. He noted that the values and ideals of Lal Bahadur Shastri, including the iconic call of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” continue to guide the institution’s approach to management education and nation-building.

Director of LBSIM, Prof. Praveen Gupta highlighted the institute’s key milestones and reiterated its commitment to innovation, leadership development and value-based education. He stressed that as the business landscape evolves rapidly, LBSIM remains focused on preparing students to lead with integrity, adaptability and social responsibility.
