Pune, March 28, 2024– Ador Welding Limited, India’s leading manufacturer of welding equipment, consumables, and automation systems is pleased to announce its collaboration with M/s Hindalco School of Excellence, Renukoot. This association is marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch two key initiatives namely- the Training of Trainers (TOT) program and the Evaluation and Certification of Trainees in the welding trade.
The Training of Trainers (TOT) program is meticulously designed to equip trainers with comprehensive expertise in various welding techniques including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Oxy-fuel Gas Cutting (OFC), Oxy-fuel Gas Welding (OFW), Gauging, Brazing, Plasma Cutting, Spot Welding.
The other program called the Evaluation and Certification of Trainees initiative seeks to evaluate and certify the proficiency of trainees in various welding techniques and processes. This program plays a crucial role in ensuring that trainees have the necessary skills and knowledge required for welding, thereby contributing to the plants of M/s Hindalco Industries and signifies a commitment to maintaining high standards of excellence in the welding practices of M/s Hindalco Industries,
Commenting on this collaboration, Mr. Harshal Borole, Team Lead – Welding Training Division from Ador Welding Ltd., said, “Our partnership with Hindalco School of Excellence is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of welding excellence. At Ador – Approved Training Body of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), for the International Welder Diploma course we are dedicated to providing hands-on experience with deep theoretical insights to fulfill the welding industry’s needs as per International Standards. Our goal is to enhance the trainers’ knowledge, teaching techniques, and understanding of industry requirements. By designing similar programs that address to bridge the skill gaps, we ensure that the training provided to the new generation of welders is not only comprehensive but also aligned with the evolving demands of the field.”
The MoU, effective for two years will include an annual enrolment of 100 Hindalco employees from the Maintenance or Production Departments, enhancing their skills and preparing them for advanced roles within the industry. The Training of Trainers (TOT) will take place at the Ador Welding Training facility in Pune, offering an immersive learning experience for participants.
