OTTAWA, Ontario, April 6 — Fidus Systems (“Fidus” or the “Company”), a leading provider of advanced electronic and embedded system design services, today announced the appointment of Stan Lequin as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 6, 2026. Mr. Lequin succeeds Alan Coady, who has served in this role since January 2018 and will remain on the Company’s Board of Directors as Vice Chairman to focus on M&A, growth and other strategic matters. Fidus is a portfolio company of Catchment Capital, a New York-based private equity firm.
Mr. Lequin is a seasoned executive with a distinguished thirty-year track record of success in professional services and consulting. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer of AI Transformation at Insight Enterprises, a leading global solutions integrator. In this role, he spearheaded Insight’s “AI First” transformation, developing the firm’s “Client Zero” solutions and go-to-market strategies. Previously, Mr. Lequin served as President of Insight Solutions, where he led a team of 5,000 technical experts in delivering integrated solutions across the modern workplace—including infrastructure, applications, data/AI, and cybersecurity. He also held the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Digital Innovation. Prior to joining Insight, Mr. Lequin founded Ensynch, a Microsoft consultancy and multiple Worldwide Partner of the Year winner, which Insight acquired in 2011.
“We are excited to welcome Stan to the Fidus team and to benefit from his commercial and operational expertise and experience strategically scaling technical services businesses and implementing AI solutions,” said Alex Rose, Managing Partner of Catchment Capital.
Robby Berner, Investment Partner at Catchment Capital said, “Stan is a proven leader, and we are confident that under his leadership the Fidus team will continue to capitalize on meaningful growth opportunities.”
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead Fidus and build on the strong foundation that Alan established during his tenure,” added Mr. Lequin. “Fidus has an impeccable reputation among customers, partners, and peers, and I look forward to collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional services to our customers while pursuing a wide range of organic and inorganic growth initiatives.”
“It has been a privilege to lead Fidus for the last eight years, and I am thrilled with what we have accomplished,” said Mr. Coady. “Fidus is a leader in its markets and now is the ideal time to transition leadership to a new executive committed to delivering exceptional services for our customers and enterprise solutions that make Fidus a truly world-class service provider. The Company’s best days are ahead with Stan as the leader of Fidus’ tremendous team, and I am excited to support him and the team through the transition and beyond as a member of the Board.”
