Vancouver, British Columbia, Feb 02 — Capstone Copper Corp. (“Capstone” or the “Company”) (TSX:CS) (ASX:CSC) announces that operations at the Mantoverde mine in Chile have resumed following a period of interrupted production due to an inability to access and operate the desalination plant, as previously announced on January 22. The Company reaffirms that it expects to continue operations at Mantoverde at a level between 50% to 75% of normal production during the strike.

Union #2 at Mantoverde, which represents approximately 22% of the total workforce, continues with a strike commenced on January 2. Capstone Copper remains willing to engage in discussions to seek a resolution with Union #2. The Company will continue to adhere to legal procedures, respecting the rights of all its employees, inviting the union to engage in a constructive dialogue, and providing the authorities with all requested information.
