Blancpain Unveils the Villeret “Golden Hour” Collection in IndiaAn ode to timeless elegance, reimagined for a new era of collectors

Rooted in Blancpain’s enduring commitment to mechanical excellence and refined aesthetics, the Villeret “Golden Hour” collection introduces a nuanced reinterpretation of three of the Maison’s most emblematic models. Presented across 16 new references, the collection captures the warmth and transience of autumnal light through golden-brown and opaline dials, paired with subtle yet sophisticated design evolutions.

At its core, the collection features:

  • An automatic three-hand model with date (40 mm)

  • A complete calendar with moon phase (40 mm)

  • A moon phase calendar (33.2 mm), including diamond-set variations

Each timepiece is available in stainless steel or 18 ct red gold, reflecting Blancpain’s mastery in balancing materiality with timeless design.

The “Golden Hour” theme goes beyond aesthetics. The watches feature refined details such as satin-brushed Roman numerals in 18 ct gold, redesigned hands with luminescent inserts, and a new openworked oscillating weight in gold, polished and beveled to reveal the intricate mechanics within. The moon phase complication—a hallmark of Blancpain’s heritage remains central, with a domed, satin-brushed gold moon featuring a distinctive expression, set within an enlarged aperture that enhances the collection’s poetic character.

Mechanically, the collection is powered by Blancpain’s in-house automatic manufacture movements, equipped with silicon hairsprings and finished in accordance with Haute Horlogerie traditions, including Côtes de Genève and meticulous beveling. Select models feature patented under-lug correctors, enabling seamless calendar adjustments while preserving the integrity of the movement. All timepieces are backed by a five-year warranty.

The Villeret line, named after the village that remains the historic heart of Blancpain, continues to embody the purity and restraint that define the brand’s identity. Since its formal naming in 2003 though rooted in design codes established decades earlier—the collection has served as the most authentic expression of Blancpain’s philosophy: where tradition meets subtle innovation.

With its launch in Hyderabad in association with Kamal Watch Co., Blancpain reinforces its strategic focus on the Indian luxury consumer—one that increasingly values craftsmanship, heritage, and understated sophistication. The availability of the Villeret “Golden Hour” collection across five POS retailers across India ensures accessibility for collectors and connoisseurs across key markets.
