Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida campus signed an MoU with India Convention Promotion Bureau (Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India) for conducting a residential short-term Conference Management Specialist Programme for working professionals, in collaboration with Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism. The three-day Training Programme is scheduled to be held from September 12th -14th 2024, at Amity University campus, wherein a batch of 40 executives will be trained as Conference Specialists.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Anuj Wadhwa, Executive Director, of ICPB, averred, “ICPB is glad to sign the MoU with Amity University since Amity University is one of the most prestigious institutions, not only in India but in the entire world. India is today one of the fastest-growing destinations for conventions and meetings of all kinds and scales and we at ICPB aim to promote India as a leading destination for meetings, conferences and exhibitions. The MoU will establish a cooperative relationship fostering engagement between the two organizations in the travel and tourism industry.”
Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, said, “Amity University is extremely happy to collaborate with ICPB and this partnership will be mutually beneficial for both organizations. The training programme will provide a platform for the participants to improve their performance, enhance their skills and knowledge and make them industry and Amity will be glad to provide all kinds of support to ICPB to conduct the training programme.”
Also present on the occasion were Dr. M. Sajnani, Director of Amity Institute of Travel & Tourism, Mr Amaresh Tiwari, Vice Chair ICPB and office members of ICPB.
