Mar 24: Advaiya announced the launch of its Change Log Archival app for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on Microsoft Marketplace. The solution helps organizations securely archive large volumes of change log data outside the core ERP system while maintaining full auditability, compliance, and traceability.
The Change Log Archival app addresses the growing challenge of rapidly increasing change log records, which can expand database size and impact system performance, while regulatory requirements demand long-term data retention. It resolves this by archiving historical change logs to Azure Blob Storage, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and optimized storage usage, while enabling organizations to shift long-term storage from ERP databases to cloud storage.
By moving archived logs outside the Business Central database, the solution improves ERP performance while preserving accuracy and immutability for audits and compliance. It automates secure archival, validates data before deletion, processes high volumes efficiently, and provides validation of dashboards and searchable records using filters such as date, table name, user, or document key for easy retrieval.
