6,000+ Bangaloreans participate in the First SAP Run 2024

Bangalore, August 27, 2024: SAP Labs India hosted the inaugural edition of SAP Run 2024 – a community-focused marathon that brought together over 5,000 participants in a celebration of fitness, collaboration, and shared purpose. Starting from the Karnataka Trade Promotion Organisation (KTPO) in Whitefield, the event featured a range of race categories, including 3k, 5k, and 10k, bringing together runners from all over Bangalore.

The SAP Run was flagged off by Sindhu Gangadharan, MD, SAP Labs India and legendary South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes as the chief guest. Rhodes’ involvement, along with hosting by RJ Prithvi created a lively atmosphere that kept participants energized and motivated throughout the event.

SAP Labs India presented each participant with a sapling, encouraging them to plant and nurture it as part of a collective effort to contribute to Bangalore’s greenery and sustainability.

The event was supported by an array of esteemed partners, including Manipal Hospital as the Health Partner, Lithium as the Sustainable Mobility Partner, Decathlon as the Sports Partner, Red FM as the Radio Partner, and Elevate Performance as the Physiotherapy Partner. Their collaboration was instrumental in creating a well-rounded experience that emphasized health, sustainability, and community well-being.
