Benchmark equity indices traded cautiously on Wednesday amid weak global cues.

At 10:00 AM, the BSE Sensex rose 69.15 points (0.08%) to 81,579.20, while the Nifty 50 climbed 31.50 points (0.13%) to 24,641.55.

Out of the 30 constituents, over half traded in the green. Leading gainers included:

Nestle India, Adani Ports & SEZ , Maruti Suzuki India,  Infosys

On the downside, the following stocks capped gains:

HCLTech: -0.57%, ICICI Bank, JSW Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, HDFC Bank

On the broader Nifty 50 index, 29 out of 50 stocks advanced. Top gainers included:

UltraTech Cement: +2.54%, Grasim Industries, Coal India, Tata Consumer Products, Hero MotoCorp, Meanwhile, losses were led by:

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories: -1.03%, HCLTech, Hindustan Unilever, Wipro, ICICI Bank
