IT shares were the big-name performers, with the Nifty IT index growing by 1.95%, driven by strong performances from TCS, Infosys, and LTIMindtree. The IT index reached a brand new 52-week excessive of 45,027.95 at some point in the intra-day exchange.

While most sectoral indices closed higher, the Nifty PSU Bank and Realty index have been the best exceptions, ending the day in the pink.
