India Post Marks 10 Years of Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya with Special Cover Release

Bodh Gaya, Feb 23: India Post issued a special commemorative envelope celebrating a decade of excellence of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya during BODHIPEX-2026, the Department of Posts’ district-level stamp exhibition held in Gayaji.

The special cover release marks a significant milestone in the institute’s journey and highlights Bihar’s growing stature as a centre of contemporary management education and intellectual leadership.

Over the past ten years, IIM Bodh Gaya has evolved from its inaugural batch of around 30 students into a vibrant on-campus academic community of more than 1,600 students representing over 280 cities across India. The institute’s growth reflects its expanding national footprint and its role in reshaping Bihar’s management education landscape by attracting diverse talent, promoting research-driven learning, and strengthening academia-industry collaboration.

IIM Bodh Gaya today offers a comprehensive portfolio of programmes, including MBA, MBA in Digital Business Management (MBA-DBM), MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM), the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), PhD, and Executive MBA programmes, catering to learners at various stages of their professional and academic journeys.

Beyond academics, the institute has significantly contributed to governance and public service through its Management Development Programmes (MDPs) and the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Programme (CMFS). It has conducted training programmes for the Bihar Police Academy and engaged numerous officers and officials across the state, strengthening leadership capabilities and administrative effectiveness.

The institute also delivers specialised executive programmes, including global MDPs such as Leadership in a VUCA World, and hosts the International Research Conference on Mindfulness (IRCM), promoting dialogue on leadership, well-being, and contemporary management practices. Through sustained collaboration with government bodies and industry partners, IIM Bodh Gaya continues to contribute meaningfully to capacity-building and socio-economic development in Bihar.

The commemorative philatelic release underscores India Post’s enduring role in documenting milestones of national importance while symbolising a shared commitment to connecting heritage, education, and nation-building.
