Jaipur, Feb 23: Smt. Kailash Kumari Sharma Charitable Trust (SKKSCT) launched VUA – Visibility, Understanding, Acceptance, an important initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices of neurodiverse children. The initiative has been jointly undertaken by SKKSCT and Bhavani Vidyalaya Trust (BVT) as part of their annual day celebration.

The event featured a series of dance, drama and musical presentations—conceptualized and performed by neurodiverse children. Their confidence, talent and expressive storytelling moved the audience deeply, resulting in several emotional and uplifting moments throughout the program.

Chief Guest Dr. Jayshree Periwal and Guest of Honour Dr. S. Sitaraman lauded the efforts of the children and reiterated the urgent need for initiatives like VUA. Both dignitaries encouraged society to participate collectively in eliminating stigma surrounding neurodiversity

Trustee (Smt. Kailash Kumari Sharma Charitable Trust) Mrs. Jui Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests, participants and parents for their overwhelming support. She highlighted the necessity of VUA and emphasized that Visibility, Understanding and Acceptance can catalyse meaningful and long-lasting change. She also shared data and examples demonstrating that, with compassionate support, neurodiverse children can excel and bring laurels in various fields.

Trustees (Bhavani Vidyalaya Trust) Mrs. Pooja Arora and Mrs. Komal Panwar discussed the challenges faced by neurodiverse children and their families in public and social environments. They suggested that VUA-based awareness should be adopted widely to promote inclusivity in society.
