AMTEX and Fastener Fair India 2024 Concludes Successfully with Over 28,000 Visitors and $10M in Business

National, August 6, 2024 – RX India (formerly Reed Exhibitions) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of AMTEX (Asian Machine Tool Exhibition) 2024 and Fastener Fair India 2024. The co-located events attracted over 28,000 visitors, and facilitated business opportunity closures worth ~ 10 million USD, which solidified their status as premier industry events in the machine tools and fastener technology sector.

These flagship events brought together over 500 national and international exhibitors, providing an unparalleled platform for industry professionals to explore the latest innovations and advancements. Attendees had the opportunity to meet suppliers, vendors, buyers, and manufacturers of components across the entire value chain, making the event a key platform for sourcing new technologies and building strategic partnerships. Notable exhibitors included Bodor, HSG Laser, Schunk, Jyoti CNC, Hindustan Hydraulics, Mitutoyo South-Asia, Tsugami, LMW, Micron Precision, SSAMH International Pvt. Ltd., Kova Fasteners, and Kaloti Engineering.

Speaking on the successful conclusion of the events, Mr. Umang Gupta, Country General Manager of RX India, said “The machine tools industry is becoming increasingly critical to the manufacturing sector in India. This year’s conference and show emphasized the importance of quality standards in the fastener industry. In collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) presented a comprehensive framework known as the BIS Quality Control Order for ‘Bolts, Nuts, and Fasteners’. The event featured a one-day conference with a masterclass by BIS, offering invaluable insights into quality control, implementation challenges, and solutions for the fasteners industry and OEMs.Industry leaders and experts from companies like Mahindra Institute of Quality, Micron, and CNH shared industry perspectives on the evolving technology and market opportunities in machine tools & fastener space.
