Feb 17: TK Elevator (TKE), a global leader in vertical transportation and urban mobility solutions, has strengthened its commitment to community development in India through a dedicated mentoring and education initiative benefiting 289 children and youth in shelter homes and orphanages across the country.

Delivered in partnership with Make A Difference (MAD), a leading NGO focused on transforming the lives of children in institutional care, the initiative provided foundational guidance and transition readiness support to 255 children. Additionally, 34 young adults received structured aftercare assistance to help them successfully navigate life beyond institutional care.

The program was implemented across seven cities — Mumbai, Chennai, Cochin, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Goa, and Bengaluru — focusing on academic growth, life skills development, self-confidence building, and long-term resilience.

“At TK Elevator, we are deeply committed to the local markets and communities we serve across India. Progress, for us, is about uplifting young lives, nurturing futures, and creating meaningful change that strengthens society as a whole,” said Manish Mehan, CEO & MD, TK Elevator India.

Over the past year, participants received targeted educational support, mentorship, and life skills training designed to foster aspiration and independence. The aftercare program specifically addressed the critical transition phase faced by young adults moving beyond institutional environments, equipping them with practical skills and guidance for higher education, employment, and independent living.

This initiative reflects TK Elevator’s broader philosophy that true progress extends beyond infrastructure and urban mobility — it includes investing in people and strengthening communities to build a more inclusive and future-ready society.
