Vaughan, Ontario, Feb 17 — Canadian Industries Limited (“CIL”) today unveiled the Company’s new logo and renewed mission, bringing to life the next chapter for Canada’s leading manufacturer and distributor of paints and coatings. The new logo is recognizable, tapping into its iconic red color, curved text, and legacy font that Canadians have come to know and trust. Built for the future, the new CIL logo carries forward a proud heritage of local innovation and heritage.

“Built in Canada to serve Canadians, we honor over a century of local manufacturing excellence to be Canada’s paint company. We deliver trusted performance, expert advice, and a commitment to those who build, restore and maintain Canada’s homes and businesses.”

With the most powerful portfolio of brands proudly produced in the Canadian market — including DULUX®, SICO®, GLIDDEN® and BETONEL® paints — CIL’s new identity is the anchor behind the company’s 1,500 Canadian employees. CIL aims to lead the next century of Canadian paints and coatings by building the most trusted brands, longstanding retail partnerships, and a high-performing team proud to shape the future of paint in Canada.

“Today we unveil more than a new CIL logo and mission. We are declaring to our customers that we are positioned for the next chapter of growth, and we’re doubling down on our promise to serve professionals and homeowners coast-to-coast with trusted brands and products built in Canada for Canada,” said Tim Fisher, Co-President, Retail, CIL. “Our team takes pride in helping our customers achieve their goals. As CIL looks ahead, the company is focused on accelerating growth by strengthening its iconic brands, expanding partnerships and continuing to invest in Canadian innovation.”

“From do-it-yourselfers to contractors our customers take pride in the spaces they create, and we share that pride by delivering performance-driven products, expert service and uniquely Canadian innovation,” said Brendan Demler, Co-President, Commercial, CIL. “We look forward to bringing our mission to life through our products, services and the expertise of our team.”

For more than a century, CIL has been part of Canada’s story. With origins dating back to the 19th century, CIL grew alongside the nation, supporting major infrastructure projects, contributing to wartime manufacturing, and evolving with the changing needs of Canadian households and industry.

“We are incredibly proud to see the CIL logo return, reaffirming a commitment to our Canadian roots, which means so much to our team and customers,” said Hector Lara, plant manager at CIL’s Vaughan, Ontario, facility. The Vaughan plant manufactures millions of gallons of paint every year.

In September 2025, CIL announced it would become a stand-alone company and revive the CIL name, underscoring its commitment to Canadian customers and Canadian manufacturing.
