Remaining MPs to Take Oath in Loksabha Today

Rahul Gandhi, and Akhilesh Yadav Among Key Leaders Swearing In

A total of 262 newly elected Members of Parliament, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took their oaths on Monday during the inaugural session of the 18th Lok Sabha. The remaining 281 new members are scheduled to take their oaths today.

Among the prominent leaders expected to swear in today are Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav. Notably, all MPs from Odisha will also take their oaths today, except for Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan, who took their oaths on Monday in the Odia language. This highlights the linguistic diversity within the Parliament, with ministers taking their oaths in their respective languages.

The session marks the beginning of the 18th Lok Sabha, with new MPs gearing up to address the nation’s legislative agenda.
