Mumbai, Jan 21: Arena Animation, a pioneer in animation, gaming, visual effects, and digital media education and a training brand of Aptech Limited, successfully concluded the grand finale of the first edition of its World Creative Excellence League (WCEL) at Moonlit Studios, Mumbai. The competition provided an international platform for student creators to demonstrate their talent, creativity, and technical expertise, highlighting Arena Animation’s role as a global leader in creative education. 

The grand finale celebrated creative excellence across storytelling, design, technical execution, and innovation. The event culminated in the presentation of over 30 awards, recognising 12 student category winners, felicitating the top 2 winners in each category, and 7 Arena Animation Centres of Excellence for their institutional excellence, mentorship quality, and contribution to fostering creative talent. The finale event also witnessed the participation and felicitation of 25 Arena Animation alumni from Mumbai. 

Student who enrolled into WCEL showcased their work across a wide spectrum of categories, including Comic Design, Brand Identity Design, Motion Graphics Explainer Video, Cinematic Scene (Unreal Engine), Game Level Design, 3D CGI Advertising, Commercial Advertisement – Powered by AI, CG Live Integration, 3D Character & Prop Design, UI/UX Design, Short Story Reel, and 3D Character Animation Sequence. The competition highlighted the depth and diversity of skills being cultivated through Arena Animation’s industry-aligned, production-focused curriculum. 

All entries were evaluated by a Grand Jury comprising industry leaders and international experts, including Mr. Sidheshwar Shukla, Creative Director at Green Gold Animation, Mr. Vinod Kumar, Senior Manager Training Development at phantomFX, Mr. B.N. Vichar, Art Director at Technicolor Games, Mr. Prasanna Devadiga, National Creative Director at Madison Loop and Ms. Poonam Nandivadekar – Creative Director – Art at Madison Loop, among others, ensuring high standards of assessment aligned with global creative benchmarks. The evaluation focused on originality, technical execution, storytelling, and real-world applicability preparing students to meet professional industry expectations.
